Yes. Our Grade 10–12 students are enrolled through SACAI, enabling them to write the official NSC matric exams. These exams are invigilated and written at SACAI-approved venues across South Africa.

Can students from outside South Africa enroll?
Absolutely. We welcome international students, provided they can commit to online access and meet the curriculum requirements. International students follow the same structure as South African students.
How are tests and exams conducted?
Exams are conducted via Canvas LMS and monitored using The Invigilator App. Students write exams at home under strict guidelines and scan their responses to upload for marking.
All SBA and Formal Assessments are invigilated using the Invigilator App. This is a new SACAI prerequisite for all online homeschool learners.
Can my child switch to Saving Grace Education mid-year?
Yes. We allow mid-year enrollment depending on the grade and curriculum. Students must catch up on any missed work and assessments from prior terms.

What is Canvas LMS and how does my child use it?
Canvas is our secure online learning platform. Students use it to:

Yes. Saving Grace Education Group is a SACAI-registered Distance Education Provider. Learners in Grades 10–12 are officially enrolled with SACAI, complete all standardised assessments, and receive a recognised National Senior Certificate (NSC) upon successful completion.
Is Saving Grace Education a good fit for working parents?

What happens if we fall behind on work?

All digital resources are included via Canvas. For CAPS grades, students may be asked to purchase specific prescribed textbooks or novels, which we will notify parents about in advance.
How are practical subjects assessed online?
Subjects like Consumer Studies, Hospitality, and Visual Arts have video-based submissions, where learners film their work and upload it. Step-by-step instructions and rubrics are provided for each practical task.
Are exams written under supervision?
Yes. All formal assessments for Grades 10–12 are written under strict supervision.

Final SACAI exams are written at an approved SACAI examination centre, under in-person invigilation.
