Saving Grace Education is a pionnering online education institution that harnesses the power of digital resources to provide a comprehensive and accredited homeschooling experience.
Our CAPS and Cambridge-aligned curriculum is delivered through engaging online video lessons, accompanied by worksheets and reinforced with regular online assessments. We cater to students from Grade R to 11, with plans to introduce Grade 12 in 2025, offering the flexibility to learn in English or Afrikaans.
Our online homeschool program spans four terms, with regular report cards ensuring students stay on track. One of the key benefits of our program is the ability for students to progress at their own pace, taking assessments only when they’re ready, and registering at any point during the year.
Learning Management System
At Saving Grace Homeschool, we utilize a user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS) that allows our students easy access to the complete curriculum. We are committed to the belief that the future of homeschooling is rooted in online education, which empowers students to learn at their own pace.
This flexibility enables capable students to potentially complete multiple grades within a single academic year. Our chosen platform for this educational experience is the Canvas Instructure Learning Management System.
CAPS Assessments
At Saving Grace Education, students participate in termly CAPS assessment across four academic terms each year. These CAPS assessment are conducted through a user-friendly online platform, allowing students to complete them at their convenience after finishing the term’s coursework. To ensure academic integrity and quality control, all CAPS assessments must be recorded via Zoom, and these recordings are submitted to our academics department for thorough review.
