Careers
We are looking for technology-savvy teachers and administrators who want to guide learners rather than manage a classroom. If you are creative, collaborative and self-disciplined, and you can teach without a room to stand in front of, we want to hear from you.

Teaching here is a different job.
Our learners are spread across South Africa and beyond, working at their own pace, in their own homes, with a parent facilitating. That changes what teaching is. You are not managing a room. You are guiding a learning pathway, one child at a time, mostly in writing and video.
It suits people who are self-disciplined, who write well, and who are comfortable enough with technology that it stops being the subject of the conversation. Experience with curriculum development and integrated learning projects counts for a lot here.
It does not suit everyone, and that is a fair thing to work out before you apply rather than after.
Applications without a demo lesson are not considered. It is the one hard rule, and it is not a formality: it is how we see you teach.
What to send
- Your CV
- A 5-minute demo lesson

- When you could start training
How to apply.
Four steps, and the second one is where most applications fall over.
Record a demo lesson
Five minutes, on any topic in your subject, taught the way you would actually teach it online. Not a talk about your teaching philosophy.
Send it by WeTransfer
Video files do not survive email. Upload to WeTransfer and send the link with your CV attached.
Say when you can start
In your cover letter, tell us your availability for immediate training. It genuinely affects which roles we can consider you for.
Email it to Dee
Everything goes to dee@savinggraceeducation.co.za. One email, CV attached, demo lesson linked.
Where we are usually looking.
We recruit continuously across these areas rather than posting one vacancy at a time. If your subject is on this page, send us something.

Creative, imaginative educators who understand what digital learning changes about the early years.
Grade 4 to 6 teachers
Grade 7 to 9 teachers
Grade 10 to 12 teachers
Cambridge teachers
Language teachers
Three years or more of teaching experience, with sound subject knowledge across more than one curriculum.
Tutors
In both mediums of instruction.
Office administration · Table View, Cape Town
On site in Cape Town. Matric required, and you need to be genuinely comfortable in the Microsoft Office suite.

A month-to-month maintenance contract. Five years or more, and a professional coding style we can hand to the next person.
Five minutes of you teaching beats five pages about it.
Every application here starts with a demo lesson, for teachers at every phase. It is the fastest honest signal either of us can get, and it is why we ask for it before anything else.
